Abstract

Galaxy counts alone cannot distinguish models tuned to reproduce the same abundances. This seminar uses clustering and field-to-field variation in JWST surveys to test galaxy formation from intermediate redshifts to cosmic dawn. It examines highly clustered early galaxies, the interpretation of cosmic variance and massive quiescent systems, and complementary low-redshift work connecting clustering with halo assembly.
