Abstract

When do local graph statistics determine a global thermodynamic quantity? This talk studies weighted sparse graphs whose subgraph counts converge. Under a spectral condition, the Ising free-energy density is continuous in that convergence topology and therefore determined locally. Stochastic dynamics serve as the proof method linking graph limits with global behaviour.
