Workshop
Robotics, Autonomy, and AI in Traffic Management
Alex Bayen, Benedetto Piccoli, Jonathan Sprinkle and 1 more
About
Part of IMSI's long program on Modeling and Control of Vehicular Traffic and Transportation Systems, this workshop looks at how autonomy has reshaped traffic over the last decade: alongside autonomous vehicles, most commercially available cars now ship with some level of autonomy, from automated cruise control to self-parking, while AI provides tools for complex dynamics and ever larger traffic datasets. Researchers from robotics, AI and mathematics meet to set future directions, with round-tables at the end of three workshop days on autonomy and robotics in traffic, AI tools for processing large traffic datasets, and mathematical approaches towards AI for autonomy. All registrants, online and in person, receive Zoom links and can attend online. In-person seats are limited and in-person registrants must wait for an invitation from IMSI before travelling; invited in-person participants pay a non-refundable fee of $25 (students) or $50 (non-students).
