Annual Creativity Conference 2027 (ACC2027): Make Creativity Happen

The conference is open to different disciplines, with presentations on how to support creativity and on its organisational, material, genetic, developmental, cultural, economic and historical bases, and typically draws 200–250 participants from dozens of countries. Keynote speakers include Andreas Schleicher (OECD), who has written extensively on the OECD PISA 2022 Creative Thinking Test; Lisa Grocott (Monash University), whose research explores imaginative agency; Maciej Karwowski (University of Wroclaw, Creative Behavior Lab); Mathias Benedek (University of Graz, Creative Cognition Lab), who studies the neurocognitive foundations of creativity, divergent thinking and the impact of AI on creative behaviour; and Mukti Khaire (Cornell Tech), who studies new markets in creative and cultural industries. Mark A. Runco is organising a panel discussion on AI and creativity. Contributions can be full presentations, panel discussions, Boom talks, posters and workshops, all focused on creativity research or on how to make creativity happen; submissions are limited to 3,000 characters.
