Code of Conduct

1.Who and what this covers

This Code applies to account holders, submitters, applicants, partners, volunteers, moderators, and representatives when they use World Wide features or participate in a World Wide-operated programme. It covers profiles, listings, comments, reports, applications, messages, uploads, and conduct directly connected with that activity.

2.Expected conduct

• communicate with professional respect, including during disagreement;
• use inclusive language and make reasonable space for accessibility;
• present qualifications, evidence, sources, limitations, and conflicts accurately;
• credit authors and respect intellectual property, confidentiality, and privacy; and
• report safety, integrity, or rights concerns in good faith.

3.Unacceptable conduct

• harassment, bullying, threats, stalking, intimidation, or discriminatory conduct;
• deliberate misinformation, impersonation, fabricated opportunities, plagiarism, or undisclosed manipulation;
• publishing private or sensitive information without a lawful basis;
• spam, credential collection, malicious files, unauthorised access, scraping that ignores restrictions, or disruption; and
• retaliation against someone who reports or participates in a review in good faith.

4.Reporting

Use the available report control or the contact below. Identify the URL, account or programme, dates, conduct, and evidence. Do not collect or send more personal data than the report needs. Anonymous reports are accepted, although limited detail can limit what we can verify. Mark immediate safety concerns clearly and contact emergency services where there is an imminent danger.

5.Review and response

We review reports as promptly and impartially as practical, limit disclosure to people who need the information, and give the affected person an opportunity to respond unless urgency or safety makes that inappropriate. Proportionate responses include no action, correction, warning, content restriction, temporary suspension, permanent account action, programme exclusion, or referral where law requires it. Relevant conflicts are managed under the Conflict of Interest Policy.

Confidentiality: we cannot promise absolute confidentiality or a particular outcome, but we protect report information as far as a fair review and law permit. Affected people can request reconsideration through the same channel.
