CASI provides $560,000 over five years to bridge advanced postdoctoral training and the first years of faculty service for researchers from mathematics, physics, chemistry, computer science, statistics or engineering applying their expertise to biological questions. Pre-proposals due August 14, 2026, 3 pm EDT.

Covers: USD 560,000 over five years bridging postdoctoral training and early faculty research.

Host location: United States, Canada

Postdoc-to-faculty transition; host and residency requirements apply.

Nationality or residence: US/Canadian citizens, permanent residents or eligible temporary residents.
