Entry clinical fellowships give up to 12 months of bridging salary to early-career clinicians before a research fellowship for a higher degree. Post-doctoral clinical fellowships give up to 12 months of salary to clinicians after a PhD or research MD, and welcome part-time research with a 50/50 split of research and clinical training. Non-clinical post-doctoral fellowships give up to 36 months of full-time salary, up to £70,000 a year, to basic scientists embedded in translational neuroscience teams, typically in clinical neurology and related specialities.
