About

The Klingenstein Third Generation Foundation awards fellowship grants each year to postdoctoral or junior faculty investigators studying the causes, prevention and treatment of ADHD or depression in children and adolescents, with particular attention to young people from low-income families, under-resourced communities and other minoritised populations. The fellowship supports a two-year research project, with a primary mentor, that could lead to federal funding and other national research awards. Each award is $50,000 per year for two years ($100,000), with second-year funding contingent on progress. Fellowship areas are ADHD and depression; applications include a one-page research abstract, a lay synopsis and a seven-page research proposal.
