About
Funding for research addressing cardiovascular conditions affecting women and girls, including stroke. Eligible approaches span biomedical mechanisms, clinical investigation, health services, population health and data science. Awards begin from July 2027 and support three-year projects.

Covers: Up to AUD 450,000 over three years for project salaries, consumables and equipment; clinician backfill is capped at 50% under the guidelines.
Host location: Australia
The chief investigator must reside in NSW and work at an eligible NSW host throughout the grant.
Nationality or residence: Australian citizenship, permanent residency or an appropriate visa covering the entire grant is required.

The chief investigator must be a woman or gender-diverse researcher, within 15 years of PhD award after approved career adjustments. Full professors are excluded. Doctoral candidates expecting conferral by 31 December 2026 may apply.
