Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Bioinformatics
Computational Genomics, Data Science and Bio-Informatics postdoctoral position at University of São Paulo — Institute of Biomedical Sciences
About
Investigate immune regulation in sepsis, particularly neuroimmune and interorgan communication, using computational analyses of bulk and single-cell sequencing datasets. The project is funded by FAPESP and is expected to start in November 2026. The advertisement lists 31 October 2026 as its application deadline and states that review starts immediately and continues until the position is filled. Submit a CV, research-interest cover letter and contact details for two references to the investigator listed on the official page.
Requirements
PhD in bioinformatics, computational biology or a related field; substantial bulk and single-cell sequencing analysis experience; R or Python; familiarity with tools such as Seurat, Scanpy, SCENIC/SCENIC+ and GENIE3; publications and excellent English. Single-cell omics, machine learning, HPC, immunology and gene-regulatory-network modelling are advantageous.
