Postdoctoral fellowships for recent PhDs pursuing independent research in fundamental theoretical physics. Areas include quantum matter, cosmology, quantum fields and strings, mathematical physics, quantum foundations, gravity, quantum information and particle physics, including intersections with AI. Fellows receive research and travel support, health coverage and mentoring; some appointments may be shared with partner institutions. Starting annual salary is CAD 79,000. Review begins on 6 November 2026 and applications continue until positions are filled.
Requirements
