Conduct independent computational-biomedicine research with AI and machine-learning mentors and experimental collaborators across UC Berkeley and UCSF. Fellows can work across laboratories rather than follow one predefined project. The appointment lasts two years, with a possible third year based on performance. Prior biology experience is valued but not essential. Requirements
PhD or equivalent expected approximately between 1 January 2025 and 31 August 2027; strong quantitative research and publication contributions; interest in biology and interdisciplinary work. Submit a cover letter identifying up to three mentors, CV, a research statement of up to two pages excluding references, up to three publications with contribution explanations, and three reference letters through Berkeley’s InfoReady portal.
