About

The California Breast Cancer Research Program (CBCRP), administered by the University of California Office of the President, offers Postdoctoral Fellowship Awards in its 2026-27 Cycle 33 call to support breast cancer researchers training as postdoctoral fellows at California institutions under an established breast cancer mentor. The programme responds to shifting federal priorities that have opened gaps in breast cancer research and training, and fellows working on environmental contributors to breast cancer, health disparities, population-level prevention or the CBCRP Reducing the Burden of Breast Cancer initiatives are encouraged, the last being prioritised. Awards provide up to $70,000 per year in stipend or salary plus an institutional allowance for up to two years, up to $180,000 in direct costs. A letter of intent is due by 12 noon Pacific time on 15 January 2027; invited full applications are due on 4 March 2027.
