PhD Student | Engineering Crystallization and Precipitation Processes for Biopharmaceuticals

Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology and Biochemical Engineering fixed-term contract position at Max Planck Institute for Dynamics of Complex Technical Systems

Deadline not stated
Magdeburg, Germany

About

Develop crystallization and precipitation processes for peptide biopharmaceuticals in Leif-Thore Deck’s group. The doctorate combines litre-scale experimental systems, particle characterization, image-based process monitoring and automation with modelling and microfluidic insights. Research includes downstream separation and redissolution to connect particle formation with practical pharmaceutical processing. The four-year appointment offers TVöD E13 remuneration at 75% and an immediate or agreed start. Applications remain open until filled.
