Postdoctoral Fellow in Brain and Cognitive Aging

Postdoctoral fellow in Randy Buckner's lab in the Department of Psychology and Center for Brain Science at Harvard, studying brain ageing and maintenance and their relevance to cognitive decline and resilience. Anchored in deep individualised phenotyping, the research combines brain imaging, biomarker assessment and ambulatory behavioural assessment to track brain and cognitive change precisely over short intervals, aiming to understand individual differences in ageing trajectories and to develop ways to predict and monitor the effects of interventions.

The in-person position uses scanning facilities adjacent to the Buckner Laboratory in the Center for Brain Science and at the Martinos Center for Biomedical Imaging. Responsibilities include conducting and publishing research, collaborating across disciplines, contributing to research proposals and mentoring students. One-year term, renewable subject to performance and funding; salary range $67,600–$80,000.
