About
This one-year postdoctoral position at Carnegie Mellon's Robotics Institute focuses on multimodal machine learning for analysing and recognising human behaviour in real-world settings, including affective computing and AI for healthcare applications such as pain measurement and monitoring of mental health disorders. The fellow develops, implements and tests novel deep-learning algorithms for human behaviour modelling from video, facial and gesture analysis and acoustic signals, works with team members on software, takes responsibility for all facets of the project including paper writing and student mentoring, and collaborates with partners across disciplines and institutions.
Applications need a cover letter with expected availability, a detailed CV and three reference letters sent separately by the referees. CMU will not sponsor an employment visa for this role.
