Postdoctoral Positions at Mathematics Münster

Mathematics Münster offers up to nine postdoctoral research-associate appointments across the mathematical fields of its Dynamics–Geometry–Structure cluster. Each is a three-year, full-time TV-L E13 appointment, starting by autumn 2027. Researchers develop independent projects with a mentor and participate in the cluster’s scientific activities. Depending on funding, teaching may reach four hours weekly during semester.

A strong doctorate in mathematics or a related field, an excellent research record and a project aligned with a cluster field. English fluency is required; German is not. Submit the stated academic documents and research plan, nominate a potential mentor, and arrange at least two references. Candidates completing a doctorate should include a dissertation outline.
