Job Description
The nonprofit research organization [C]Worthy is recruiting a postdoctoral scientist to build a one-dimensional ocean alkalinity enhancement process-model testbed in the open C-Star system. The work covers marine carbonate chemistry, mineral dissolution and precipitation, particle dynamics, sediment alkalinity cycling, uncertainty analysis and reproducible scientific software.
Requirements
- PhD in oceanography
- marine chemistry
- geochemistry
- chemical oceanography or a related field
- strong ocean-biogeochemistry and carbonate-chemistry expertise
- scientific programming in Python
- and experience designing numerical experiments.
