Postdoctoral Researchers in AI for Biomolecular Simulation (26-1630)

Artificial Intelligence, Computational Biology and postdoctoral researcher position at RIKEN

About

RIKEN’s Life and Medical Science Application Interface Platform Development Unit, led by Yasuhiro Matsunaga, seeks postdoctoral researchers for the TRIP-AGIS project. Research integrates biomolecular simulation with AI: agents that plan and execute reproducible simulation workflows; molecular-dynamics surrogates with physical-validity and state-space-coverage benchmarks; and generative or integrative models connecting simulation with high-speed AFM and cryo-EM/ET experiments.

Applicants need a relevant doctorate obtained within five years, or expected before starting. Positions are based at RIKEN Kobe Campus and require on-site attendance. One-year contracts are renewable following evaluation for up to five years, no later than March 2032. Applications are open until filled through the upload route on the official vacancy page.
