Job Description

The Allen Institute for Neural Dynamics seeks a Research Associate I to record thousands of neurons across brain regions while mice perform cognitive and foraging tasks. The role uses Neuropixels electrophysiology, optogenetics, optical physiology, rodent behavior, histology, and data-quality analysis within a collaborative brain-wide-circuit programme.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in neuroscience or a related field. Two years of research-laboratory experience
  • mouse work
  • in-vivo electrophysiology or behavior
  • rodent surgery
  • and strong scientific communication are preferred.
