About
Join Gill Reid and John Dyke’s group on the EPSRC EXPRESS programme for electrochemical growth of transition-metal dichalcogenide semiconductors. The role models metal precursor complexes, molecular species and ions in relevant solutions, including solvent, additive and inhibitor effects. It combines wavefunction and density-functional methods with collaboration across computational chemistry, electrochemistry and inorganic synthesis. The initial appointment is for 24 months, with possible extension; the annual salary is GBP 37,369–40,704.
Submit a CV and cover letter addressing the criteria by 23:59 UK time on 30 October 2026.
