Senior Research Associate - Materials Science and Engineering

Research advanced functional materials and high-throughput fabrication for electronics, energy harvesting and catalysis. Characterize physical properties and develop materials through solid-state synthesis, vacuum deposition and printing. Design projects, contribute to funding applications, mentor research students and manage laboratory equipment, training and safety. The advertised salary band is AUD 133,000–156,000 plus 17% superannuation and annual leave loading.

PhD in materials science or a related discipline and/or relevant work experience. Demonstrated laboratory infrastructure expertise, functional-materials research outputs, higher-degree student supervision, communication and collaboration are required.
