About
PhD fellowship at the Department of Psychology, NTNU, in the interdisciplinary research group VaDi, which studies mental difficulties after stroke. The project is a randomised feasibility study of group-based rehabilitation 3-6 months after stroke: 54 people recruited through the stroke unit at St. Olavs hospital are allocated to Goal Management Training (a structured programme training planning, organisation and goal-directed behaviour), Love Your Brain (an adapted yoga and mindfulness programme for acquired brain injury) or usual follow-up, delivered in groups of 4-6 over six weeks.
Outcomes include executive functions and quality of life, measured with cognitive tests, questionnaires and interviews before and after the intervention, and relatives' experiences are also collected. Supervisors: Associate Professor Ramune Grambaite (main), Professor Trude Reinfjell (NTNU) and Professor Jan Stubberud (University of Oslo).
Requirements
Psychologist, medical doctor or other health professional with an equivalent master's degree; admission to the faculty's doctoral programme.
