Topic: Early-career researchers

Partial support for students, postdoctoral fellows and early-career researchers presenting accepted work at the bioinformatics conference in Lima, Peru. Selection considers financial need and accepted work. Apply by 1 October 2026 at 17:00 Eastern Time using the application link sent to accepted presenters. Applicants must provide their presentation title and EasyChair submission number and attend all three conference days.

A three-day scientific symposium led by early-career scientists, combining invited talks, selected short talks, poster sessions, workshops, networking, and cross-disciplinary exchange in stem cell and developmental biology.

The Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council supports early-career researchers making their first application as project lead to develop an independent research vision and establish a research group. Applications can address any EPSRC-remit field, including artificial intelligence, healthcare technologies, engineering, mathematical sciences, physical sciences, clean energy, security, and quantum technologies.

The Simons Foundation invites nominations for outstanding early-career scientists to receive up to three years of support for independent research at an educational institution in New York City. Junior Fellows join an interdisciplinary scientific community and participate in weekly lectures and dinners, an annual conference, and a retreat while developing their research programmes.

The purpose of this event is twofold: to raise awareness of careers in AI to neuroscience postgraduate and Early Career Researchers (ECRs), and to give the chance for commercial organisations to acquire and diversify their talent pool. We know that our early career members are highly motivated and interested in different career pathways, and wish to help them fulfil their ambitions.
