The condensed-matter and quantum-information theory groups seek postdoctoral researchers for autumn 2027, with flexible starting dates. Research spans quantum many-body dynamics, entanglement, correlated materials, topology, superconductivity, quantum optics, ultracold gases, quantum simulation and computation. Successful applicants can join international experimental and theoretical collaborations. Pay follows the German TV-L agreement. Akira Furusaki’s Quantum Matter Theory Research Group seeks postdoctoral researchers studying strongly correlated electrons, topological phases, superconductivity, quantum spin liquids and open many-body systems. The group also connects ultracold-atom dynamics and quantum-information concepts with condensed-matter theory. Applicants must hold, or obtain before starting, a doctorate based on theoretical condensed-matter research; the postdoctoral classification generally covers the first five years after the doctorate. The position is at RIKEN’s Wako campus, with annual contracts renewable subj
