Seeking a few Postdoctoral Researchers at Quantum Matter Theory Research Group (26-1503)

Akira Furusaki’s Quantum Matter Theory Research Group seeks postdoctoral researchers studying strongly correlated electrons, topological phases, superconductivity, quantum spin liquids and open many-body systems. The group also connects ultracold-atom dynamics and quantum-information concepts with condensed-matter theory. Applicants must hold, or obtain before starting, a doctorate based on theoretical condensed-matter research; the postdoctoral classification generally covers the first five years after the doctorate.

The position is at RIKEN’s Wako campus, with annual contracts renewable subject to evaluation for up to three years.
