This meeting connects medical students, trainees and others interested in neurology and neurosurgery with clinical specialists and practical training. Morning presentations cover neurointerventional radiology, skull-base surgery and neuromodulation. Afternoon sessions combine theory and practice in craniotomy, burr-hole technique and bone-flap fixation; pedicle-screw placement; upper-limb sensory and motor nerve-conduction studies; and catheter navigation using a neurointerventional simulator. No prior simulator experience is required. Posters and sponsor exhibits run during breaks and lunch, with poster prizes at closing. Conference proceedings are planned for Surgical Neurology International. The event runs November 21, 2026, 08:30–17:30 Europe/London (GMT, UTC+00:00), at the James McCune Smith Learning Hub, University Avenue, Glasgow G12 8QW, UK. General admission costs £45 plus £1.13 service fee. The £70 ticket plus £1.75 fee adds individual CV feedback and a trainee Q&A panel.

Explore the neurological origins of visual discomfort and stress and how image characteristics predict these effects. Researchers will consider implications for inclusive design of buildings, lighting, text and electronic imagery, as well as management of neurological conditions. The Science+ meeting connects visual neuroscience with practical design and health questions. The meeting is intended for researchers in relevant fields, with free virtual and in-person attendance and advance registration required. Optional lunch costs £25 per day. Poster abstracts of up to 200 words are due on 2027-01-01; the session takes place on the first day.

Compare neuroplasticity after cortical and subcortical visual-system damage across children and adults, using evidence from animal models and human patients. The meeting will examine competing interpretations, develop new hypotheses and consider how the findings could inform rehabilitation and other translational applications. The meeting is intended for researchers in relevant fields, with free virtual and in-person attendance and advance registration required. Optional lunch costs £25 per day. Poster abstracts of up to 200 words are due on 2027-02-05; the session takes place on the first day.

This joint conference examines how advances in dementia research can be implemented in everyday care across different health systems. Researchers, clinicians and industry participants compare brain-health and risk-reduction strategies, emerging therapeutics, diagnostic innovations and care pathways. The programme focuses on translating clinical progress into practical patient benefit through shared approaches and international collaboration. Participation is offered in Seoul and online. Abstract submission and conference registration are scheduled to open in December 2026.

This joint meeting connects stereotactic and functional neurosurgery with multidisciplinary neuromodulation. The first day offers workshops on deep-brain stimulation programming, non-invasive stimulation, pain interventions, botulinum toxin and functional neurosurgical techniques. Subsequent plenaries and parallel sessions address psychiatry, neurosurgery, neurology and pain, including new technologies, clinical research and contributed papers. Sessions begin at 08:00 local time each day, with the final free-paper sessions ending at 17:45 on 9 May.
