An eligible host institution or organisation and sponsoring scientist are required.

Nationality or residence: US citizen, US national or lawful permanent resident required.

US citizens, nationals or lawful permanent residents; doctorate held no more than two years at January 1 of the award year and conferred before appointment. A sponsoring scientist and host affiliation are required. Prior NSF PI/co-PI awards are excluded except graduate fellowships and conference/workshop support; no prior MSPRF award offer. One proposal per year.
