About

Support exceptional neuroscience postdoctoral researchers as they prepare for independent academic careers. The fellowship provides USD 200,000 per year for two years, covering salary and research costs with limited indirect costs included in the award. Applicants need three to six years of postdoctoral experience by 1 July 2027 and must commit at least 75% effort. Each US institution may nominate one candidate. Nominations are due 1 November 2026.

Covers: USD 200,000 annually for two years, USD 400,000 total, for salary and laboratory research. Indirect costs of up to 15% of direct costs must fit within the award total.

Host location: United States

Research must be conducted at a US institution; one nominee per institution.

Nationality or residence: Visa holders may apply if their authorisation covers the award period.

MD and/or PhD neuroscience postdoctoral researchers with three to six years of postdoctoral experience by 1 July 2027, at a US institution, with at least 75% effort committed.
