Biotherapeutics Discovery Co-op

A January–June 2027 placement with the Biotherapeutics Discovery team in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Work focuses on evaluating and improving therapeutic antibodies and VHH candidates through binding, biophysical and cell-based assays. Activities include protein production and purification, mammalian cell culture, ELISA, Octet measurements, size-exclusion chromatography and assessment of thermal stability. Results support the progression of discovery programmes toward clinical development.

Current BS or MS student in a relevant biological science, with at least one year of laboratory experience. Applicants must remain enrolled throughout the placement. Familiarity with biochemical or molecular methods, experimental records and data analysis is expected.
