mRNA Science Co-op
Molecular Biology, Molecular Genetics and co-op position at Beam Therapeutics
About
Join the mRNA Science team for a January–June 2027 placement in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Experiments compare mRNA sequences and chemical modifications using mammalian cell culture, transfection, protein-expression measurements and biochemical assays. The student generates and interprets experimental data and may also contribute to cloning, plasmid preparation and in vitro transcription. Work supports the evaluation of mRNA reagents for gene editing research.
Requirements
Current BS or MS student in a relevant biological discipline with at least one year of laboratory experience. Mammalian cell culture, aseptic technique, transfection and cell-based assay experience are required. Applicants must maintain student status throughout the placement.
