FPI PhD Student (Ref. 2026-19-00200002)

The Harmonic Analysis group at the Centre de Recerca Matemàtica seeks a PhD student for the project PID2025-169712NA-I00 “Regularity of Measures in High-Dimensional Problems” (MICIU/AEI), supervised by Dr. Egor Kosov. The thesis addresses problems at the interface of high-dimensional analysis, probability and convex geometry, with the possibility of a stronger emphasis on approximation theory depending on the candidate’s interests. Tasks include conducting mathematical research, presenting results at seminars and conferences, preparing manuscripts and taking part in group meetings.

Full-time (37.5 h/week) four-year FPI contract at CRM, starting before July 2027, with flexible hours and a teleworking option; salary set by FPI status (EUR 25,456.10 gross per year for 2026). Apply by email to CRM HR quoting the reference, with CV, cover letter and copy of qualifications.
