Postdoctoral Associate (Porrati) - Feinberg Postdoctoral Prize Fellowship in Theoretical Physics

Feinberg Postdoctoral Prize Fellowship at the newly established Carl Feinberg Institute for Theoretical Physics (CFITP) at New York University. The institute advances fundamental research at the intersection of particle theory, condensed matter theory, quantum information and quantum gravity, using computational and AI methods where appropriate. Fellows have full independence in research direction within the institute's scope, including quantum field theory, string theory and quantum gravity, particle phenomenology, strongly correlated and topological phases, nonequilibrium quantum dynamics, quantum information, and machine-learning methods for these problems.

The three-year appointment begins September 1, 2027 with a salary range of $62,500 to $90,000 and an annual research and travel allowance. Applications received by December 1, 2026 receive full consideration; the position remains open until filled.
