About

The Helms group develops bio-derived chelators and functional polymer sorbents for critical-mineral recovery. Research combines molecular synthesis, metal-binding selectivity and kinetics, analytical characterization and separation testing, including regeneration and cycle life. The two-year postdoctoral role offers annual pay of USD 99,192–110,808. Priority review is December 1, 2026.

Requirements

A relevant chemistry or chemical-engineering PhD; organic synthesis, coordination chemistry and analytical characterization experience; fewer than three years of paid postdoctoral experience.
