Vice President, Clinical Development

Lead the medical and clinical development strategy for Beam’s metabolic disease franchise. The role shapes clinical plans and study protocols for base editing therapies, oversees ongoing trials and patient safety, and coordinates clinical and regulatory strategy. Responsibilities include mentoring physicians and clinical scientists and working with research teams on subsequent therapeutic programmes. This hybrid role requires residence within commuting distance of Cambridge, Massachusetts.

MD, DO or equivalent medical qualification, prior patient care experience and at least ten years of industry clinical development experience; the advert typically expects 17 or more years overall. Experience in metabolic or rare diseases is desirable. Requires clinical programme leadership and regulatory interactions.
