Medical Imaging funding

Full-time resident students at accredited US universities; qualifying exams completed by 28 February 2027 and PhD completion no earlier than 1 August 2028. A publication or poster is required. One applicant per lab per programme cycle. NIH-F recipients and first-cycle full-application invitees are ineligible; overlapping stipend support is prohibited.

Women with an MD or DO and neuroradiology subspecialty certification, or an international equivalent; current ASNR, ACR and AAWR membership and demonstrated leadership potential. Academic candidates should be approaching or early in associate professorship; eligible private-practice candidates may also apply.

ASNR members in the specified diagnostic-radiology/neuroradiology training pathways, including senior residents in a dedicated 12-month neuroradiology year and postdocs in a North American radiology department’s neuroimaging programme. Training must overlap January–June 2027. Concurrent-award exclusions apply.

North American ASNR members in good standing with an MD, PhD, DO or equivalent and an active or imminent appointment in a radiology department. Physicians need the specified board eligibility/certification and neuroradiology training. Concurrent ASNR, RSNA Research Scholar, GERRAF or ARRS awards can disqualify applicants; seed and prior trainee awards have exceptions.
