Work with Leander Thiele at Kavli IPMU on theoretical physics and agentic AI. The project develops and evaluates systems that integrate researchers’ private data into scientific workflows, alongside independent physics research. An April 2027 start is preferred but negotiable. The contract can continue to March 2030, with a possible extension to September 2030 depending on funding and start date. Two postdoctoral positions in Naoto Yokoya’s Geoinformatics Team at RIKEN AIP develop multimodal and agentic AI for disaster-risk assessment and geospatial decision support. Research combines satellite, aerial, ground and simulation data with computer vision, machine learning and language models. Develop agentic AI for dark-matter and neutrino research with Aobo Li at HDSI. Work extends scientific machine-learning workflows to data analysis, experimental design, quantum control and detector monitoring. The initial appointment is two years, renewable by agreement, with a start between 7 January and 1 April 2027. Advertised annual pay is $76,881–$82,677. Remote work may be possible subject to work authorization and PI approval. The full-consideration date is 15 December 2026.

Develop agentic AI for accelerator operations in Berkeley Lab’s Advanced Light Source and the multi-laboratory MOAT-Core programme. Research covers planning, tool use, evaluation, human oversight and integration of the Osprey platform with control systems, models and facility knowledge. The full-time postdoctoral appointment lasts two years with possible renewal. Priority consideration is November 16, 2026; the employer accepts applications until the posting is removed.

Supports agentic AI research and open-source tools, including multi-agent collaboration, scientific discovery, autonomous trajectory verification, and customization through post-training or optimization of prompts, tools and agent scaffolding.
