VMSG offers doctoral students up to GBP 750 towards eligible conference or workshop participation, fieldwork, or travel for laboratory visits within volcanic and magmatic studies. The September 2026 round closes on 15 September and supports travel between 1 November 2026 and 31 October 2027. Applicants must be enrolled for a PhD at a UK or Irish university, have previously presented an oral contribution or poster at a VMSG annual meeting, and never previously received this bursary.
