Chercheur postdoctoral (H/F) en chimie bioorganique / chémobiologie

Eighteen-month postdoctoral position in a multidisciplinary AVIESAN-funded project to develop, optimise and functionalise ligands of three-way DNA junctions for cancer treatment, and chemical tools to study their mechanisms of action in cells. The postdoc will develop the synthesis of polyazamacrocyclic compounds as ligands of non-canonical nucleic-acid structures, notably three-way DNA junctions, with anticancer aims, and functionalise them for chemical-biology applications.

Activities combine organic synthesis and molecular characterisation with participation in chemical-biology studies carried out with a partner team; the project is run in collaboration with the Institut de Pharmacologie et de Biologie Structurale in Toulouse and other partners. Start date 4 January 2027; gross monthly salary from €3,131 depending on experience.

Solid experience in organic chemistry, preferably of macrocyclic and/or heterobifunctional molecules; molecular characterisation (NMR, MS, HPLC); basic knowledge of nucleic-acid biochemistry, molecular biology and/or chemical biology; very good English.
