Postdoc in Creative Electrosynthesis Reactions - DTU Physics

A two-year postdoc at DTU Physics on new electrochemical routes to chemicals. Beyond well-studied reactions such as water electrolysis, CO2/CO electrolysis and ammonia synthesis, the chemicals industry needs new, economically viable electrosynthesis reactions and the fundamental science behind them. The project is relatively open: the postdoc shapes the end goal provided it concerns new electrosynthesis reactions, with access to DTU Nanolab clean-room and electron microscopy facilities and optional teaching, student supervision and proposal writing.

Expected start: 1 February 2027, with some flexibility.

A PhD in electrochemistry, chemistry, chemical engineering or a related field.
