About
Three-year postdoctoral grants for research in any field with potential short- or long-term benefit for neuroscience and/or therapies for nervous system disorders, with neuroscience taken in its broadest sense across medical, technical, natural and social sciences and the humanities. Type 1 supports scientists based in Denmark for at least five years who spend 18–36 months at a research institution abroad and return to Denmark; Type 2 supports scientists moving to Denmark from abroad. Grants are worth up to DKK 1,000,000 a year (up to DKK 3 million over three years), including project supplement or project-related indirect costs, from a DKK 40 million programme; Type 1 grantees may add relocation and child support. A Danish non-commercial research institution manages the whole grant. Applications close on 19 November 2026 at 13:00 CET and are assessed in one step by the Lundbeck Foundation Talent Panel.
